Interloom is building the first navigation system for work.

For thirty years, enterprise software has forced fluid, human work into rigid forms, tickets, and CRMs. Yet most of what actually happens inside a company, the decisions, the escalations, the problem-solving, happens outside those systems. Roughly 70% of operational knowledge is never written down. It lives in inbox threads, support tickets, and the heads of experienced people. Interloom changes that. We capture how expert teams actually resolve work and turn it into a living context graph, a permanent memory layer that lets AI agents act on your company's real, proven decisions instead of generic training data.

We put subject-matter experts, not developers, in control. Everything in Interloom is built from natural language: a procedure is written the way you would explain it to a new colleague, and an agent is briefed the way you would brief a contractor. We are already deployed at enterprises like Zurich Insurance, JLL, and Fiege, across facility management, insurance, banking, logistics, energy, and ITSM.

We are a team of engineers, operators, and researchers across Munich and Berlin. In March 2026 we raised a $16.5M seed round led by DN Capital, with participation from Bek Ventures and Air Street Capital, to expand across enterprise customers and accelerate our go-to-market. As a forward deployed working student, you will build the AI-powered workflows and automations that let us solve customer problems faster than a traditional engineering hand-off ever could.

About the role

You will work side-by-side with our go-to-market team to build and ship real solutions for customers, fast. Expect diverse, hands-on work across data, machine learning, and the systems that bring the context graph to life for each customer.

What you’ll do

• Take on diverse tasks across data science and machine learning, working with large datasets as a forward deployed engineer.
• Work side-by-side with the go-to-market team to build and ship real solutions for customers, fast.
• Build and tune AI-powered workflows and automations using Interloom itself.
• Own your work end-to-end: from quick prototypes to production-ready deployments.
• Learn industry best practices in testing, code quality, and building scalable systems.

What we’re looking for

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
• Strong Python development skills, plus a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Technically fluent. Comfortable with APIs, building automations, and thinking in systems.
• You love taking initiative, proposing your own solutions, and working independently.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Nice to have: experience from real-world projects, hackathons, internships, or side projects.

Location

This role is based in Munich, with a hybrid setup out of our office (Osterwaldstr. 10, Munich). Working hours aligned to Central European Time and flexible around your study schedule.
